sometimes it works but not alot of tims

I think it will only if both people want it to otherwise it wont

Long distance relationships DO work IF two people are 'in love' with each other...but I seriously doubt yours will work as you only seem to 'like' him... If you were 'in love' with him you wouldn't be able to control yourself saying it...

I believe that long distance relationships can work if visit them as frequently as possible, and you regularly use the phone, webcam, and internet to communicate. But it ultimately depends on the person and his/her emotional strength.

Definitely! They DO work!! if it's meant to be then it'll work.. I hope you really do love him not just like him, though! Big step..

girl...really? thats like a hop skip and jump away. esp if you go there every few months anyway. of course it can work!

It's just not the same like when you are able to hug your loved one every day. :(

not really ,hun - have Friend who had long distance relationship but do not work out for her . she end up end the relationship with her partner.
9 :
If you really love each other it will really work, however, both of you should also meet in person so that it will be more intimate or have intimate moments together.

What are the most important things I should know if I want to move from America to Holland

What are the most important things I should know if I want to move from America to Holland?
My boyfriend and I would love to move from America to Holland. However there are a few obsticals.... We have 3 dogs and a cat, he is a baker (kinda easy to find a job) and I work in the corporate office of a bank (have no idea what the lending industry is like in Holland). Any suggestions that would make the transition to our dream go a little smoother?

Well do you speak Dutch for starters??
2 :
Cannabis and prostitution are both legal so watch out for the pimps and prostitutes

Learning the language is a spiffy idea. Most Dutch are fluent in Dutch, not English. Europe has some regulations concerning the importation of pets which may tie your furry friends up in quarantine for many long months. Make certain that issue is addressed before you pack anything. Save about a year's worth of funds before you go. You may have to live off your savings for awhile before you can find decent employment ~ even for a baker.

Holland has laws regarding immigration. You'd have to check with the government to see what they are and whether you can move to Holland permanently. It may depend on whether they need the particular skills you have. You should check the official government website for Holland. You could also do a search on "relocating to Holland" or some such.

Holland vs Germany which is better for work and life progress

Holland vs Germany which is better for work and life progress?
I currently have the option of doing my PhD with Max Planck/DFKI or at TU Eindhoven with Phillips. I have lived in germany for sometime so i speak a bit of german as well. However i like socializing and enjoy diversity of people and friends. some how i feel the germans are really conservative especially outside of the university culture.Since I want this to be more like a permanent move for the next couple of years I need your suggestion. I have heard that holland is more relaxed and english speaking. Also that the community is much more liberal. Please advice on the life style differences and job prospects in two countries with view to above. Cheers
