How can I work with with people in tarot card reading?
I'm 14 and my parents cannot afford all my books and other compulsary needs for school. I bought a pack of "Psychic Tarots by Dean Holland" , are they good to work with other people or do I need to buy a traditional pack of cards? I don't want any dumb answers , I want you to answer my question, Tarot card reading is what interests me . recently my parents lost their jobs , I bought my tarot cards a very long time ago before my parents lost their jobs

You're poor and spent money on tarot cards instead of books for school? Wow, you're dumb.

I looked at the Psychic Tarot, and I think they will do just fine for learning. They have all the Major Arcana, and the non-court cards from the Minor Arcana. Since the missing cards are the "court" cards (which are famously hard for the beginner to interpret) I think you can learn to do readings easily using these cards. If a book came with the deck. read it but most people find the books that come with decks to be pretty worthless so if it is confusing you, don't bother. Use whatever is your best means of memorization (mine was to write the cards' meanings down in a notebook) and do small, simple spreads to start, 1-3 cards at most. Since you have access to the internet, go to learntarot.com and read additional meanings for the cards there. There is also a wealth of information at aeclectic.com. After a while you may want to get another deck, but for now these should be fine. Enjoy your journey!

Any cards are good to do reading and to "work with people" (not sure what you mean by that). You can even do readings with simple playing cards, you will just need to know how to interpret them. The priority when you chose a deck, is to make sure the pictures "speak" to you, meaning that you will respond to each illustration in an emotional way. Try first to get familiar with your deck by playing with it, by becoming familiar with each cards. Then, slowly, you can start to do small spreads and see how it goes. Enjoy!

The Crowley deck! The book of Thoth by Alister Crowley is the book you want to have. The Tarot Handbook by Angeles Arrien is a good book to add to your collection. I have been studying Tarot for almost 20 years. Numbers fascinate me and I have been able to relate to them early in life. Research online you will see that the deck is full of symbols, artistically designed and is the most accurate to the tree of life. Good luck with your studies. Don't let anyone discourage you from learning what feels right to you.

Am I still holding a Schengen visa

Am I still holding a Schengen visa?
All these visa situations confuse me.. So I applied for a Schengen visa to enter Holland in July 2009, then after 3 months got a residence permit to work in Holland which then expires in July 2010. Am I still holding a Schengen Visa or a Dutch Visa? And after July can I still enter other EU countries other than Holland?

No, you need to leave the Schengen zone latest on the expiration date of your residence permit [Verblijfsdocument]. You can't enter other Schengen countries before a waiting time of 93 days..

You should look for information on the website of the IND, http://www.ind.nl/EN/index.asp And you have to find an employer. In the new act, the employers of highly skilled migrants (kennismigranten) will acquire the status of recognised sponsor. They will have statutory information and administration obligations and sometimes also duties of care. The sponsor will inform the IND if there are changes that may have consequences for the residence rights of the migrant, for example in the event the migrant terminates his employment. The IND furthermore requests the sponsor to keep certain documents in its records, for example the employment contract. In the new act, employers of highly skilled migrants are required to obtain official recognition as sponsor. This recognised status will allow the IND to settle their applications in the accelerated procedure.

Instead of banning cannabis for tourists in Holland, would this idea work better?

Instead of banning cannabis for tourists in Holland, would this idea work better?
At airports, hotels, and exchange bureaus in the Netherlands (mainly Amsterdam), allow tourists to purchase permit cards that allow tourists to enjoy a limited purchase of coffeeshop cannabis per day. Each permit card would have a bar code indicating the passport number of the purchaser, making it only possible to have 1 card per tourist. At each coffeeshop, a tourist would need to show their passport and the permit card. Upon purchasing cannabi, the permit card would magnetically keep track of amounts of cannabis purchased per day, and there would be a max-out limit. The cost of administering and maintaining permit cards would be covered by charging fees to purchase a permit card plus a profit for Dutch tourism, shared by the hotels and airports and other venues. This would in my opinion create a nice balance between monitoring the drug-related activities of tourists and not punishing responsible tourists. Would this be a good idea? AND if a tourist does commit a drug-related crime or causes a disturbance, then allow Dutch authorities to Void/suspend any tourist's cannabis permit card in the system. My point is you can charge money for the permit card, so this a profit-making idea, is good for tourism, and ALSO keeps marijuana crime in check. So this isn't about crime reduction or safety so much as international portrayal of Dutch culture? So it is Dutch people's cultural standard of common decency or do you speak for the entire West or the world standard of common decency to be led by Netherlands?

No, it would not be a good idea since the whole idea of the card system is to get the drugs tourists to stay away. No, it's about us Dutch getting slowly fed up with dopeheads. Dopeheads in Amsterdam who think they can puke and be sick everywhere. Dopeheads in the south and east who think that, since dope is "legal" traffic rules or even common decency don't apply any more.

While the idea sounds reasonable - i do have a problem with it. First of all - you suggest that all tourists would be coming for, would be drugs. Newsflash, tolerance for drug addicts that only come here to feed their addiction is diminishing. Second - you`d in effect open a door to legalize hard drugs. Why? Because they`ll say "i have this card so that means drugs aren't bad - so why no cocaine/heroin/crack on the card" Third - drug related crime will happen regardless of it being illegal or legal. It`s people that walk with their heads drugged up acting criminally - similar to drunk driving (alcohol being legal, yet still alcohol related crimes are committed weekly) What we would like, is to people to stop perpetuating the lie that 'drugs are legal in Amsterdam'. As they simply are not. Or, to use the same logic - someone once told me that in the US he shot a burglar - and wasn't arrested. So, why is it legal in the US to shoot people? Frankly - i`d prefer the whole world waking up - and realizing the damage drugs, and alcohol, does - and everyone deciding to stop. now THAT would be a nice step towards world peace.
