I am fed up with it that my boyfriend does not write me as often as I want to. How can I change that

I am fed up with it that my boyfriend does not write me as often as I want to. How can I change that?
We live in different countries. The plan is that in the future we will spend our live together but for now we have to live like this. I love to write but I also love to read. If it is up to me, I write him every day, multiple times even, via e-mail. He does not like to write, but if I do not write as often as I used to, he gets irritated. He calls every week, sometimes two times and than we are at the phone for at least half an hour to an hour, sometimes longer. I know it is expensive. But I can not bring my self to tell him not to call for so long. I want him to write, to save money, because this year I am going to see him and he will return with me so we can spend more time with each other. I don’t make a lot of money, he receives much more. He is the one who will pay for the tickets and my stay there. Sometimes I write to him and we do not get the chance to talks about those things. After these phone calls, I get fed up and wonder why I am in such a relationship. There seems to be no end in the time apart. But I can’t let him go because I love him and think he loves me too. We are highschool sweethearts. He was the first one I made love with and I was the first one for him. He went to study abroad and I stayed behind. A lot happened and we lost track of each other. I got married and he ended up having al lot affairs. Five years ago I got divorced. Because he always stayed one my mind, I looked him up and found that we still had feelings for each other. We want to be together now but I just can’t pick up my stuff and leave. I have my work here, I don’t earn much but in my country I can live from it. And I have two children, who go to school. He wants to take care of us but I will have to work too of course and I am afraid that in Holland I will not find work of my standard. I am a teacher at a highschool and I do not want to do that work in Holland because it will be so different an in fact , I am afraid of change. These things are in the future. When we get together in December, I hope we will resolve them. But for now, how do I get him to write more often? Sometimes I get so mad at him for not writing, that I just want to end it. I get anxious, and I can’t get him to understand him how I feel.

Then change your expectations.

he should be considerit towards you, you cant afford it let him know and if he still gets irritated i know its hard but then he just doesnt care for all you know he could be cheating, he lives so far..its really hard.
3 :

you can tell him how you feel but maybe since he makes so much $. then mayb he's at work!!! Oh and I think you can look at jobs in other countries or cities that way you might find one that you can find a job you like. Oh to make sure things go smoothly 4 ur kids, show them a pic. of him and see what they think. maybe you could get something to talk to each other and see each other at the same time. But if he had lots of affairs. welllll u might want to think about that be4 u go down there.
6 :
well... just tell him you'd like him to write more often. even better, send him what you just wrote as your question on here

we have a "male-female" dilemma. females are used to this type of communication, males prefer this. For a relationship to truly work, both genders must learn to communicate on the other's "channel." Don't expect it your way, learn to understand his ways as well. It makes the walk SOOOOO MUCH smoooooooother.

Can someone take a year off work and legally be allowed to return to their post after (in Ireland)

Can someone take a year off work and legally be allowed to return to their post after (in Ireland)?
Husband and I are looking to move abroad (Holland) for a year. He holds a supervisory role in his company and we heard somewhere that its legally possible to leave work for up to a year and be allowed back into the same position. Is this true?? And would it still matter if the company was American. Could they omit Irish law rules in that situation if it is possible to leave?

That doesn't work if you take another job. You have to reapply.
2 :
up to the individual company ..chances are not good I would have thought
3 :
you'd have to ask the company

How would prayer work in this scenario

How would prayer work in this scenario?
Two sports teams, Holland and Spain, for example, are about to play a soccer game against each other. Both of them want a win really badly, so all of their teammates pray to God with utmost sincerity for a victory. How would God go about choosing which team to support (remember that they are equal in sincerity).

It doesn't matter. Paul decides who wins
2 :
yea too bad god never existed..... so ur question is invalid
3 :
if i put money on it i would trust paul the octopus then god
4 :
first of all prayer for health and safety from injury
5 :
god always takes the teams with the points.
6 :
This is not about winning or losing but that everyone plays a safe game and the one that plays the best will be the one that wins.
7 :
It doesn't work. IF there is a God he doesn't respond to prayers. Especially not for soccer.
8 :
I highly doubt that God cares who wins a ball game that is being played for financial gain
9 :
i dont think that God would make either team win or lose. i think that in the end he would leave it up to the teams, and if they both played fair and with sincerity then they both walk away as winners. i do think that God would however help prevent any injuries and protect the players on the team. hope this helps.

It is not "prayer" that works but God Who works and He works according to His will. Prayer is a means of communion and seeking His will and discovering His will and being conformed to His will. The subject is too broad to handle here. You obviously do not have a right understanding of what prayer is and regard it as some kind of magic or wish fulfilment. Did you know that none can pray until they have ben quickened to life by God? And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. .. ...And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, Saul of Tarsus was a very devout and excelling religious Jew who had obviously in his religion made many prayers to God while yet dead to God. Yet God says of him, behold - take note, this is something exceptional - he is praying. I trust you see what is being said? As to those who doubt God has a will in any given situation did not Christ say that not a sparrow falls to the ground without the Father knowing, and that the hairs of our head are all numbered? Obviously He is intimately and infinitely concerned about all matters. What result He chooses is for different reasons and purposes than we have and He will work all things for the best for all.

Will this brush and primer work

Will this brush and primer work?
hi, I have just bough some paint and primer for my apartment walls which at the moment are new and have never been painted. Will this work? The primer is from Robusto, its transparant and in dutch it is called 'Voorstrijk'... (I'm in holland). The white paint i got is Dulux pure brilliant white. The thing i'm worried about is i've noticed the roller he sold me says 'special for oil based paint'... Does that mean it won't work with my latex dulux paint? Also, can i use the roller to apply this transparent primer stuff? Thanks

As long as the primer is latex or it says it will accept latex paint then you will be all right. as for the roller. you can use the roller, it may be made out of wool. instead of synthetic that's all.
