Tax question. Live in FL, worked in Holland and got paid in NC

Tax question. Live in FL, worked in Holland and got paid in NC?
Good morning, I am a resident of Florida and was hired as a consultant to work in Amsterdam. I received a 1099c as non employee compensation. The 1099c shows the headquarters address in North Carolina. Do I have to file NC state tax? I also assume that I was not a resident of Holland since I was only there for 6 weeks. Please help...Thank you

No you do not have to file a NC state tax return because you do not live there. You did not get paid in NC, that's just where the company HQ is.
